Mechanical and Plumbing Systems for Greenville’s Administrative Hub

Administrative buildings serve as the backbone of local governance, providing essential services and spaces where community members can interact with their government.
These structures not only house critical departments but also symbolize transparency and accessibility in governance. Southern MEP was honored to take part in the construction of Greenville County’s new Administrative Complex, a facility that will serve the community for years to come.
Southern MEP successfully completed the entire mechanical and plumbing scope for the Greenville County Administrative Complex. Our $5.3 million contract covered the installation of advanced HVAC systems, process piping, and ductwork throughout the 250,000 square-foot facility.
Leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM), we coordinated early-stage designs to ensure seamless integration of all mechanical components, including tenant upfits for public-facing departments like the assessor’s office and public works. The project also included refrigerant piping and prefabrication services, ensuring optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
